Skills

 

21 members, all trained in Hasty/Grid Search Methods (Type I, II, III), and Land Navigation. Mix of SarTech, DEC Wildlands, DEC Guide, and Management Training. Several amateur radio operators. Management Support Team.

Incident Management Unit Van w/desks, split basket, BLS pack, rope, communications (Digital/Analog VHF/UHF/Satellite/Amateur Radio), CradlePoint Routers/high capacity Internet and wif-i with failover (AT&T  Priority FirstNet, Verizon), Cell Boosters w/antennas, Advanced Mapping and Incident Management, Real-time satellite abilities - tracking of teams, mapping, and communications. Thermal Imaging, Comprehensive Twilio-based text communications backup, dspatch and self-rescue systems.

Radios

 

Field Programmable Analog/Digita VHF/UHF Radios pre-programmed with SAR frequencies.

Medical

 

1 Paramedic, 1 EMT-D/B, 3 EMT-I. All members Wilderness First Aid and CPR.

Online/Offline Topo Maps of NY. Custom and Commercial Mapping Systems with Real-Time Satellite Integration, Spare Devices for generation of waypoints, routes, and Geo-Spatial PDFs for SAR Teams.
